Sad News about Alexandrite Jove
We had some very sad news this week, Alexandrite Jove was in a road accident and the vet tried to save him but they couldn't, he has now gone to play with Kahlan and Dizzee. Jove was a loveable rascal and I am sure he will be being a little rascal now with Kahlan and Dizzee.
Little Jove had gone to live with Su and Alex and another of our kittens Alexandrite Genevieve, we are so sorry for their loss but they gave him the best life and love they could, thank you.
For us as breeders there is always the dilemma to let the kittens go to new homes and then for them to be allowed out. We leave this decision to the people who adopt our kittens. Why do we do this? Because when we first got our loveable Fudge and Kahlan no restrictions were put on us whether we allowed them out or not. At the time we had had a lot of cats in the area going missing for what we believed was for the fur trade, shocking but true. So we made the decision to keep them in and we then added an outside pen and secured the garden. They loved the outside space and I am sure Fudge still misses his favourite conifer that he would sit beside for hours on end. Now that we have the Sibies, we of course can't let them out being entire boys and girls. Gosh I dread to think what sort of mess we would be in then, Cimus would definitely rule the neighbourhood! So our family have outside pens/space and they do love it, but a lot of our Siberians go to homes without outside space and they are very happy. Siberians are very adaptable so as long as they are loved an outside or indoor life is fine for them.
So with a great deal of sadness we say kisses and hugs to you Jove, thank you for being a rascal and giving us all a lot of love xxx

Easter photos
Some Easter photos taken today of the family, and what a gorgeous bunch they are, from Phoenix showing off his golden good looks, and his best friends Gemini's beautiful blue eyes, Ariana's sweet expression and stunning green eyes! Last but not least Ariana's 3 little babies, Neve who gets paler everyday, Kaleigh's contrasting dark enchanting looks and Micah's pale black smoke, all absolute stars xxx
Alexandrite Macy
Some photos of Macy having a brilliant time in his new home and already helping out with jobs! The photos were taken the beginning of last month when he went to live with Stephanie and James.
Stephanie says...
He's very obedient, and loves being brushed. He's also been 'helping' me plant some herbs for my house (as you will see in the pics!) and in the garden. I have bought him a little harness which i attach to a lead (which is a little rope at the moment) so he can venture outside with me. He loves the guinea pigs and is very curious about the chickens, although he keeps his distance from them a little!
He's turning into a very handsome man - all my family have been over to see him, and i had to make sure that they hadn't slipped him into their bags when they left as they all thought he was heavenly! I also took him for a little trip to my office, where he was a big hit, and performed his little 'fetch' trick perfectly!
James is absolutely fine with him too! He rubbed Macy on his face last week and breathed in hard - and not so much as a sneeze! James works from home - and Macy always sits on his lap whilst he's on his laptop - like he is sitting on me now.
I love him to bits, he's the most affectionate cat i've ever known! If i can talk James into it - i might even get another in the future. I don't know why we never had a siberian before!!
Thank you Stephanie and James for looking after Macy, he looks like he is thoroughly enjoying himself x

Alexandrite Riley Diesel, Easter Surprise
Well we had a lovely Easter Surprise yesterday, no it wasn't more chocolate for Andy (well he did get that too!) Mandy and Simon who adopted Diesel last year from Boo Boo and Mishka's first litter were visiting near by and brought Diesel along to show us. I was so happy to see him, it really was one of the best Easter surprises you could have. He has grown so much and is just as handsome as his Dad and you can tell he is definitely loved and spoilt rotten by Mandy and Simon. I was able to give him a big cuddle.
Thank you Mandy and Simon for looking after him so well and bringing him over to visit, it really was a lovely surprise.

Alexandrite Elena aka Elenka
A couple of photos of Willow and Mishka's baby girl from last summer, Elenka lives in London with her new mum and dad and looks right at home out in the snow. You are right Ilona she looks very well camouflaged!
Another one of her helping put the Christmas tree away! Not sure whether that looks like she is really helping...
Thanks to Ilona and Sam for taking such great care of her, she has definitely turned into a little princess x

SGCA Alexandrite Azazeal aka Grumpy
After hearing that he might have a contender for the most handsome Alexandrite Black Smoke, Grumpy thought he had better perform for the camera! And didn't he just...
We also had a weigh in and we think Grumpy has been stocking up over Winter at just over 7.7kg he is a big boy! Whose going to be hitting the treadmill this Spring in time for Summer, looks like we both will!
Everybody loves Grumpy and I always say he should have been in a Harry Potter film with that dark brooding stare, any Wizard or Witch would be proud to have him as their assistant x love you Grumpster
